And this is how it works:

  1. Give the dates a bath: Place in hot water for 5-10 minutes, then drain well.
  2. Put everything in the blender: blend the walnuts, dates, cocoa, almond butter, cinnamon and salt thoroughly.
  3. Finely chop 1-2 handfuls of walnuts and pour into a bowl.
  4. Shaping & rolling: Roll the mixture into small balls, roll in the chopped walnuts and... done!
