Strong together with the St. Elisabeth Foundation

What happens when people, passion and a common goal come together? Our collaboration with the St. Elisabeth Foundation answers precisely this question. Since 2023, our Winterbox has been created there with a great deal of commitment and real teamwork. The foundation enables people with physical and mental disabilities to actively participate in working life.

During our on-site visit, we were able to experience how the processes work, which tasks are undertaken and how both sides benefit from the partnership.

The winter box...

...is a seasonal promotional product that contains eight individual portions of 30 g each, i.e. 240 g in total, and combines four varieties from our own distillery:

  • 2x roasted almonds
  • 2x roasted peanut kernels with sesame seeds
  • 2x roasted pumpkin seeds
  • 2x roasted hazelnut kernels

The wintery design makes them the ideal gift or snack for the cold season!

The Werkgemeinschaft Bad Buchau

Werkgemeinschaft Bad Buchau is a recognized workshop for people with physical and mental disabilities. In addition to wood processing, assembly and cable assembly, packaging also plays an important role. For our winter boxes, the employees of the Werkgemeinschaft take care of every step of the packaging process - from folding the boxes and filling them with small packages to closing, labeling, packing and palletizing.
What particularly impresses us is the mixture of care, concentration and genuine joy that can be felt at every step of the process.

Insights on site

We received a very warm welcome during our visit on August 27, 2025. The employees took the time to answer our questions and showed us around the workshops. We were particularly impressed by the enthusiasm with which the winter boxes are prepared! Many employees told us how exciting it is for them to find the finished products on the dm shelves later on.

Of course, there are always organizational issues involved in joint production. Material deliveries, schedules, logistics. An open exchange is important to us. Everything is discussed and solutions are found together. The foundation has a lot of experience and is always flexible when new requirements arise. This partnership is a genuine collaboration for both sides that goes far beyond pure production.

Our conclusion

The partnership with the St. Elisabeth Foundation is far more than just a project. It is an example of how social responsibility and economic efficiency can work together - characterized by respect, openness and mutual appreciation. Together, we create a result that can be seen - on the shelf as well as in the responsibility we live!
