DIY Advent calendar - Floating garden

Transform your Seeberger Advent calendar into a floating garden and give it a second life!
With some macramé yarn, a few pieces of wood and succulents, you can conjure up a unique decoration from your calendar that will inspire.

Sustainable, easy and a real eye-catcher - making upcycling really fun!

What you need:

  • Inner workings of the Seeberger advent calendar
  • Macramé yarn
  • 5 pieces of wood (e.g. 1x 42 cm, 2x 23 cm, 2x 13 cm)
  • succulents
  • Potting soil
  • 4 screws
  • Cordless screwdriver

It's that simple

  • Step 1: Saw the pieces of wood to the right lengths and screw them together to form a wooden stand. The succulent swings will be attached to this later.
  • Step 2: Plant the succulents in the inlay of the Advent calendar and tie it to the wood with macramé twine.
  • Step 3: Spray the plants with a little water - and you have a stylish window sill decoration!
